In this episode, we highlight one of the winners of our poster awards at CSM 2022. Lindsay Fitchett talks to Chris Burke about her group’s systematic review of wearable sensors assessing balance and mobility in people with PD. They discuss themes from the review including differentiating PIGD and tremor-dominant subtypes, looking at fall risk, assessing movement strategies/transfers, and sensor-based interventions. They also discuss potential future avenues for sensors in rehab.
